They must be going crazy in Louisiana. Don't they know that guns create crime and violence? This Governor should be fired, no? Isn't it irresponsible ot encourage women to defend themselves? Afterall, that's what the police are for: your personal body guards. Or, that's what the Liberals are telling us anyway.
Are the Canadians getting ready to invade the US? Or is it just their relaxed immigration policies allowing more anti-US terrorists through?
More reasons why we are having trouble finding teachers.

Like your caviar? Better stock up.
Move over, Enron. Step aside, Worldcom. The big dog is revealed in this editorial, though he's been mismanaging funds and robbing retirement for decades.
It's inevitable. Resistance is futile. We even know what you eat for breakfast.
Hamas has demonstrated they are no better than al Qaeda. Now Americans are among the dead. So, in my opinion, the next group of soldiers the West Bank sees shouldn't be Israelis. Since Hamas has brough terror to the Americans, the Palestinians need to see what 50,000 US Marines looks like. Terror should stop shortly then. One of two ways: they give up, or there is no one left to be terrorists. This has gone on far too long.

Here we go! Real science, ruined! The article was interesting up to this point:
The hypothesis does not disregard man-made contributions to climate change. Greenhouse gases introduced by humans could affect the cosmic ray-cloud interactions, he said.
After that, I felt cheated that I had read it. But what can I expect, it is CNN, afterall.

Double Jeopardy? Um, nope. Arrests are already public records. I see nothing wrong with public display of convicted criminals. Though I have some reservations about prostitution laws, I think this is a good idea. Used to be men were pilloried for certain crimes. I think this might prove to be an effective deterrent, and should be applied to other crimes as well. The stipulation must remain, however, that the photographed criminal be convicted of the crime, and not merely a suspect or just arrested.
Here's an article on the Improved National and Physical Activity Act.
Here's the key passages:
"Where in the Constitution does it delegate this extraordinary power of the federal government? If we're going to tell people whether they are fat or not and have studies and advisories produced and trained doctors, if anything it should be done at the state or local level, certainly not at the federal," said Sam Ryan, an advocate for individual rights.
and:
"Getting people to eat healthy?" one customer mused over the legislation at a Washington-based McDonald's. "I think half of them have to learn to eat healthy before they can vote on it. A lot of them are a lot bigger than a lot of people out here on the streets."
What this means is that Congress appears only interested in telling us how to live. A different set of rules applies to them.

I have a better idea. Phase out oil, coal, trash, and gas power plants and build more nuclear facilities. So-called "green" technologies (wind, solar, water) actually are environmentally harmfull or prohibitively expensive to implement and operate.
Ok, which side do I believe? The one with the lawyers, or the other side, with lawyers. Maybe you can sort this out?
One down, 421 to go.
